Everything meaningful begins with an origin. For Au Départ, that origin was Paris in 1834, where a spirit of departure first took form. More than a maker of travel goods, the House was imagined as a companion for dreamers and romantics — those who sought not only to move through the world, but to see it differently. From the earliest trunks to today’s creations, Au Départ has carried with it a devotion to craft, to detail, and to the luxury of presence.
